Seeing Red Trend Alert
As you know, I loooooooooooove the color red. Annnnnnnd, I'm so excited that red is one of the on-trend colors for Fall. My love of this gorgeous color goes back to childhood. While most kids were claiming blue and purple as their favs, I was proudly proclaiming red as mine. I'm not sure why but I've always been drawn to red, red lipsticks, red shoes, red crayons, red game pieces. You name it. I want it in red. It's always just caught my eye.
Funny story: In college, I was on homecoming court and I instantly fell in love with this bea-u-tiful red suite with a black fur collar. I had to wear it. It was perfect! Keep in mind, my sorority colors are pink and green and a similar sorority's colors are red and white. I didn't care. Plus there's no rule about wearing your sorority colors. Soooooooo, because I wore the red suite, I kept getting congratulated from the the other sorority. Some even wanted to take pictures with me. Ha!
I've been having the best time wearing red this season. Wearing red doesn't have to be scary either. Try wearing one red item and build around it with more subdued articles of clothing and accessories. Let the red shine!
